Written by a captivating and young Author from the Kashmir valley, Quratul Ain, who is also an 11th grade student, this book titled "Intimacy and Scars Tacit" comes with a large number of essays filled with Emotion and Mental Health.
The Book Launch Event was attended by several well-known activists and artists who hoped to encourage the young author and appreciate her talent and courage as an author at such a tender age. In addition to the Ishfaq Ahmed Bhat, the Joint Secretary of the SYSF, Co-ordinators Anika Nazir, Fayaz Ahmed Mir and Mohammad Maqbool Khan were also present at the event, which was hosted by Mir Taufeeqa.
In the local society, it is taboo to view women as inferior to men; it is the motive of SYSF to promote the artists of the valley especially the women.
With today's events, we aim to empower women to boost their self-esteem and to enhance their self-confidence through giving them a chance and platform to showcase their skills.
At the end of the book launch, the young author was presented with a certificate of appreciation along with many artists and activists.
